Singhad College of Engineering

Singhad College of Engineering is an unaided institution, which was established in the year 1996. The institute provides eight undergraduate programs and six postgraduate programs. They also provide postgraduate programs leading to MBA degree. They have a total enrolment of 1200 student for undergraduate programs and over 338 students for postgraduate programs. The research programs with a total intake of 126 students. Students from all over the country come to take direct admission in Sinhgad College of Engineering.

Eligibility for Admission in Sinhgad College of Engineering

Candidate must have passed 10+2 [Higher Secondary Examination] with an aggregate of minimum 50% marks. And minimum aggregate required for backward class students [SC/ ST] is 45%. Candidates should have taken Physics and Mathematics as the major subjects and anyone out of Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subjects.

Candidates also have to appear in Joint Entrance Examination [JEE] Main and should have a valid score card of the same.

Eligibility for the 2nd-Year-Degree Course in Engineering

The candidate must have scored a minimum aggregate of 45%. Candidates which belongs to the backward class or which are physically handicap need to score the minimum aggregate of 40% marks.
This scheme is only applicable to students which belong to Maharashtra State only. The candidate should have done Diploma from a recognized university and with English as the medium of instructions. The Institution should an approved by All India Council for Technical Education [AICTE].
Candidates which have done graduation in Bachelor of Science should have passed from a University recognized by University Grant Commission [UGC] and also by Association of Indian Universities [AIU].
The candidate must have scored the minimum aggregate of 45%. Candidates which belongs to the backward class or which are physically handicap need to score the minimum aggregate of 40% marks. This scheme is only applicable to students which belong to Maharashtra State only.

Application Process 2024

Sinhgad College of Engineering, Vadgaon, has different application procedures for UG and PG level programs, as listed below:

For B.Tech programs

Candidates can register for B.Tech program by logging on to the MHT CET website

Candidates must fill in all the relevant details and upload scanned copies of his/her passport size photograph and signature.

Application fee of INR 800 must be paid only through the online payment gateway.

Candidates must save and print the complete application form and payment acknowledgement slip for future reference.

Candidate must download the admit card on the scheduled date.

Management Quota

Students can take admission in SCOE, Pune through management quota also. Candidates must have to fulfil the norms of the college. Students with fewer marks in 10+2 and also in qualifying examinations can also take admission by paying Sinhgad College of Engineering management quota fees.

The fee will be a donation amount, which will be given for the college trusts. The management quota criteria provide a second chance to every student, who couldn’t get qualified for some reasons.
