NMIT Bangalore admissions 2024 have been commenced for various undergraduate and postgraduate programmed. The seat intake for the BE programmer across various specialization’s ranges from 60 to 240 and the seat intake for the MTech programmer at Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology ranges between 18 and 24. The institute has reserved 120 seats for both the MBA and MCA programmed. NMIT Bangalore has however, reserved a number of seats for the admission through different quotas and entrance examination. • For BE programme, 45% of the seats of the total intake are to be filled through the CET
• 30% of the seats of the total intake in the BE programme are to be filled through COMED-K test

• 5% of the super numerary quota seats in BE are made available for the meritorious-economically weaker students with the tuition fees waiver provision.
• 80% of the total seats in the MTech programme is to be filled through Karnataka PGCET
• 20% of total seats in the MTech at NMIT Bangalore filled through management quota
• 50% of the total intake in the MCA and MBA programmes is filled through Karnataka PGCET
• 50% of the total intake in the MCA and MBA programmes is filled through management quota
• For admission in the BE/ MTech/ MBA/ MCA programmes at NMIT, AICTE has approved 15% extra seats in each programme for the foreign nationals/ PIO/ NRI students whose parents work in the Gulf Countries over and above the sanctioned intake.

NMIT Bangalore admission 2024 will be a multi-stage process. Candidates who want to take admission in any of the UG or PG level programmes offered by the institute will be required to follow certain steps. Below is the step wise NMIT admission process for the year 2024:

STEP 1: NMIT Bangalore Application Process 2024

Candidates will first be required to register for fresh admission through the NMIT Bangalore website. Candidates must furnish their basic, personal, guardian, educational details and must choose the preference programme and submit all the necessary documents. The final step of the application process is to submit the application fees.

STEP- 2 NMIT Bangalore Selection Criteria 2024

After candidates successfully submit the application form, the next step of the selection process is that candidates must appear for the entrance test. For admission in the BE programme at NMIT Bangalore, candidates domiciled in Karnataka must appear for CET exam conducted by the Government of Karnataka and the Karnataka and Non-Karnataka candidates can appear for COMED-K. Candidates who want to take admission in the BE programme at Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology through the management quota must appear for NMIT Online Entrance Test. Similarly, NMIT accepts the scores of Karnataka PGCET to offer admission in the MTech, MBA and MCA programmes through regular mode. However, for admission through the management quota in the postgraduate programmes at NMIT Bangalore, candidates can additionally appear for GATE/ KMAT/ CMAT.

STEP-3 NMIT Bangalore Seat Allotment and Counselling

The shortlisted candidates are further required to appear for the counselling and document verification process.
