V.I.T, Pune B.Tech Admission

Admission to the B.Tech program is made on the basis of marks acquired by the candidate in 12th or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. Selection will be made on the basis of marks secured in JEE Main Entrance exam conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Eligibility for BTECH Admission

• For admission to the B.Tech program, candidates must have passed the 10+2 level or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with minimum required marks.
• Admission to the B.Tech course at VIT Pune is based on merit of JEE Main examination conducted by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education).
• Admission is also done through MHT-CET-2017 followed by a counseling based on the merit list.

Entrance paper

MHT-CET (Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test) is a state level entrance exam conducted by the government authority the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) which is owed by the Govt. of Maharashtra. This common entrance test is organized for admissions in Pharmacy and Engineering & Technology courses offered by various government and private colleges of Maharashtra state.

JEE-Main (Joint Entrance Test) is a national level entrance exam conducted CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) New Delhi for admissions to engineering programmed at NITs (National Institute of Technology), IIITs (Indian Institutes of Information Technology), CFTIs (Centrally Funded Technical Institutes) and other SFTIs (State Funded Technical Institutes) locates across the country.

• Library: The central library of Vishwakarma was established in 1984 and since then provides with physical and intellectual access to information.
