BITSAT 2022 Exam Pattern

BITSAT Exam Pattern

Mode of Examination: The exam will be conducted in a computer-based online format.
Number оf questions: There will be а tоtаl оf 150 questions оn the question рарer.
Type of Questions: The examination will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
Language of Question Paper: Only the English language will be used for the examination.
Sections in Question Paper: The question рарer will be divided intо fоur sections
Time Duration: Candidates will be given a total of 3 hours to complete the question paper.
Marking scheme: Each correct answer will receive 3 marks, while each incorrect response will deduct 1 mark.

BITSAT 2022 Admit Card
BITSAT 2022 Admit Card will be released 2-3 weeks before the exam dates. The exam conducting authority will issue an admit card to each registered candidate via the internet.

BITSAT 2022 Exam Center

BITSAT 2022 Exam Center will be allocated to candidates based on the preferences filled by the candidates while filling the online application form.
• BITS Pilani is expected to conduct the exam in 61 cities in India and abroad.
• BITS Pilani will also announce the allotted BITSAT exam centers to candidates depending on the number of applications received.
• Students will be able to choose the date and time of the exam through BITSAT slot booking 2022.

BITSAT 2022 Result & Merit List
BITSAT 2022 Result is released in two parts. One, candidates can check their scores just when they complete their exam. The computer screen displays the result in terms of the number of total correct answers and wrong answers along with the scores. Second, an admit list and waitlist of the iteration are released. Adding to this, the college also releases a tentative score report online.
Only eligible candidates who score the required minimum marks will be able to participate in admission rounds. The merit position of eligible candidates is prepared on the basis of BITSAT 2022 scores. 2 separate merit lists will be prepared for admission: All Programs except B.Pharm and Only B.Pharm Program. In case two candidates have the same score, the following sequence will be considered while preparing the merit list:
• First their BITSAT 2022 scores obtained in Mathematics/ Biology will be considered.
• If the tie still exists, then the scores in Physics will be considered.
• Further the tie will be eliminated using Chemistry scores.
• If the tie still exists, then their PCM/PCB total scores in Class 12th exam will be considered.
BITS Pilani does not release any official answer key. However, some leading coaching institutes release the answers. Once the answer key for BITSAT 2022 is out, you can match your answers and find out the probable score.

BITSAT 2022 Counselling and Admission
BITSAT 2022 Counselling is conducted in form of iterations with the release of the admission list and waiting list after each round.
• Direct admissions are given to all those students who have obtained the first rank in their respective State/ Central board exams, irrespective of their BITSAT 2022 Score.
• There is no reservation in BITSAT 2022.

BITSAT 2022 cut off will be the minimum score determined by the authority for each candidate who takes the exam online.
