Department Of Computer Science and Engineering
Department of Computer Science & Engineer started in the year 1983 with an intake of 60 students for undergraduate programmed. The intake was increased to 90 seats in 2000 and to120 in the year 2011.The department is accredited by NBA AICTE in 2004 for 3 Years and in 2008 for 3years.
The department of Computer Science & Engineer also has PG programmed, M Tech (C.S.E) established in1992 with an intake of 18.The Research Centre, Department of Computer Science & Engineer started in the year 2010 under VTU, Belgaum. The research areas of the center cover machine learning, cloud computing, big data analytics, wireless networks, social networks analysis etc.
Currently, there are seven registered guides, accelerators etc. who are experts in fields like artificial intelligence, wireless networks, medical imaging accelerators etc. There are 20 research scholars working in the research center.

The mission of Computer Science and Engineer department is to educate students in the areas of computer science by providing best practices of teaching-learning process for careers in software industry/higher education/research.
