M.S. Ramaiah University, also known as MSRUAS, situated in Bengaluru, Karnataka is a Private Deemed University. It was established in 2013, and within two years of its creation, is one of the top 100 universities in India.

Candidate should have qualified 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory courses and one of the Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology.

He/She should have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate (40% if SC/ST/OBC).

40% of the seats falls under Karnataka Quota and candidates will have to qualify CET/PGCET for being eligible for admission. Such candidates will have to apply for admission by filling the application form with the marks scored through the university’s official website.

Once all the examinations are over, and application form deadline is over. University will then release the merit list. And selection procedure and counselling will take place.

IEEE: The college has an IEEE Student branch.[24][25] The IEEE-MSRIT celebrates its tech fest Aavishkaar each year Various competitions such as Algomach (On Spot Programming), Design and Debugging (Circuit debugging), Robotics, Cyber Treasure Hunt (CTH), Paper Presentation, Gaming, Tech Quiz, Product Design, 8086/8051 Programming, Amazing Race, Photoshop Contest are held along with Workshops.

TEDxMSRIT: This student organization conducted a national event in March 2012. The event involved speakers such as Atul Chitnis, Devi Prasad Shetty, Soumitra Bhattacharya Praveen Godkhindi, and others.

UDBHAV: UDBHAV is the annual Cultural Fest held at RIT every year.

VTU Fest: The Government of Karnataka in association with RIT held the 13th annual Youth Fest at RIT. The fest was named ‘Udbhav’. The fest was open to all engineering colleges.
