10 + 2 pattern of education which is equivalent to Pre-university of Karnataka, India with Physics, Mathematics along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Computer Science / Electronics / Biology as optional with English as one of the language of study and obtained a minimum 50% of marks in the optional subjects (as per VTU eligibility criteria for the year 2019-20).

§ NRIs- Children of Indian Workers in the Gulf Countries are eligible for NRI Quota (as per The Gazette of India – 2004)

§ Foreign Nationals – Citizens of all countries other than India. (as per The Gazette of India – 2004)

§ PIO – Persons who are citizens of other countries (except Pakistan and Bangladesh) who at any time held an Indian Passport, or who or either of his parents or any of his grand parents was a citizen of India by virtue of the provisions of the Constitution of India (as per The Gazette of India – 2004)

Documents Required for Booking

§ Employment certificate of Father / Mother from the employer stating working from to till date (Minimum 5 year of service is compulsory) for students taking admission under NRI quota

§ Valid pass port and Visa copies of parent and student (if student studying in India, passport and visa copy not required) Qualifying marks sheet of student

§ 10th standard +12th standard Marks Sheet

§ Letter from Indian embassy in proof of NRI status

§ RP (Residential Permit) for Foreign students.

§ Demand Draft should be made in dollars in favor of M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore

Placements in MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology

Students should have passed second year PUC final examination with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects. Minimum of 45% marks should be scored. SC/ST students should have obtained at least 40% of marks. The students should have passed in the entrance exam conducted by Government of Karnataka. M.S. Ramaiah Institute Of Technology Direct Admission Procedure

Students can get admission in MSRIT through Entrance Exams: COMEDK, & KCET entrance exams for admission in MSRIT and MSRUAS colleges through counselling and merit.

Minimum Cut-off of MS Ramaiah Colleges :

MSRIT >>Rank must be under five thousand or depending on the yearly trends.

MSRUAS >> Rank must be under twenty thousand or depending on the yearly trends.

For COMEDK Students:

MSRIT: Two lakhs fifty thousand fees per annum as tuition fees for all branches

MSRUAS- different tuition fees for different branches

For K-CET Students:

Around 1lakh rupees as tuition fees per year

For Management Quota Seats:

MSRIT: Two lakhs fifty thousand as tuition fees or whatever decided by the college as tuition fees per year plus the donation amount at the time of admission.

Management Quota NRI Admission in MSRIT

RAMAIAH INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (MSRIT) is one of the top colleges in Bangalore. The management quota admission generally starts in February. MSRIT takes a one-time development fee in the form of a demand draft that is a different amount for each branch. The Tuition fees for all the branches will be the same, only Development fees will be different.
