VITEEE or Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam is a national-level Engineering Entrance Test conducted by the Vellore Institute of Technology University Vellore every year in the month of April.
Vellore University itself the conducting body of VITEEE 2023. The candidates have to appear in the entrance examination of Vellore University in order to get admission. The qualifying candidates after the exam will be provided admission. To give the VITEEE 2021, the candidates should fulfill the eligibility criteria for the same.
Those eligible candidates will be given admission in its campuses either in Vellore or in Chennai or in other VIT Campuses on the basis of the merit list. The rank or score card will be made on the basis of the candidate’s percentile score in VITEEE 2023.

How to calculate VITEEE Cutoff?
- The calculation will be based on percentile method; an equating method is used to calculate the rank of the candidates in the entrance exam for VITEEE.
- The score secured in different slots with the same percentile will be considered to be same.
- Students need to know that the VITEEE cut off will not be applicable to the requirement of qualifying marks which you need, to be able to clear the entrance exam.
- VIT appoints a panel which decides the admission and counseling of students. This panel will decide the VITEEE 2018 cut off on the basis of the number of received applications, the total number of students appeared for the exam and the no of total seats in various courses in the respective campuses.
VITEEE Counseling 2023
- Those students who have their rank between 1 and 8000 will be called on the first day of counseling
- Those candidates whose rank fall between 8001 to 12000, will be called for the second counseling day
- On the third counseling day, candidates having rank 12001 and 16000 will be called
- During Phase II of VITEEE counseling, the candidates whose rank fall between 20000 to 99000 will be given chance to attend the counseling.
Final VITEEE Cutoff 2023
The final VITEEE Cutoff 2023 will be made available by VIT University after the declaration of result. VITEEE Cutoff 2023 will be released as the closing ranks for its four campuses – Vellore Campus, Chennai Campus, VIT-Bhopal and VIT- Amravati (AP).

VITEEE Cutoff 2021
Candidates must secure the minimum qualifying marks in VITEEE to be considered eligible for counseling and admission procedure. Check expected VITEEE Cutoff 2020 based on last year exam. Candidates with 118+ marks will be allotted higher rank range from 01 to 250.

- In 2016, Candidates secured a rank between 7000- 50000 were got admissions in Vellore campus.
- The closing rank for Computer Science (Spec. in Bioinformatics) went down till 13500 while for Computer Science and Engineering; it went up till 7000 as compared with the closing ranks in 2015.
- The closing rank for Computer Science and Engineering was 7000, while 50000 for Production and Industrial Engineering.
