The Electronics and Communication Engineering Department is imparting quality education to students to obtain a B.E degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU).
ECE department has laboratories in VLSI, Digital Signal Processing, Computer Communication Networks, and other basic laboratories required for conducting experiments pertaining to the VTU syllabus. Students are doing their final year projects at reputed industries such as IBM, ISRO, INTEL, Honeywell, etc.
Fresh graduates find openings in the telecommunication and the computer industry. A large majority of our graduates receive offers for employment at their pre-final year of study.
Students with a focus to enter higher studies enroll in the PG courses in the same department at DSCE or join one of the IITs/IISc. Quite a few go overseas for higher studies and pursue research.
The Electronics and Communication Department is proud of the quality, need-based instruction and practical training imparted to its students to face the challenges of the fast-changing corporate and technical world.
