Admission Criteria-
The candidate shall have secured a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% marks in case of SC/ST candidates) in three subjects of Physics, Mathematics and any one of the following subjects namely, Chemistry, Biology, Bio-technology, Computer Science, Electronics and shall have completed PUC, 10 + 2, or its equivalent with English as one of the languages.
Admission through Management Quota in Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering
A management quota admission In Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering is for students who failed to score a good rank in CET or COMED-K. To get admission through Management Quota in Dayanand Sagar College a student must have registered for any of the entrance exam and should have passed with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and should have passed these subjects individually.
A student might have to pay a higher fees for getting a seat through Management Quota in DSCE, along with the application form. The fees may vary depending on the branch of engineering you want to get in.

Placement and training-
Placement and training is very good. Almost, all the eligible students have been placed in their seventh semester itself. There are more number of companies recruiting from this college as there is a very good bond between the college and the companies.
Students gets an opportunity in more than one company so that they get to choose where and for whom they want to work with. Placements at DSCE are good and it depends on your skill sets. For the computer science students, most of them get placed who have above 60% if they clear the aptitude test. So above 80% of students got placed to round it off. I personally got placed in 4 companies including Infosys, Cognizant, TESCO and Informatica. The highest package was around 12 LPA to 14 LPA as per my knowledge.
The placement department does its job perfectly. The internship was a bit less comparatively (less than 10% to say). Informatica and a few other companies offered internships. G
The stipend varied between the companies, and the roles also varied like Software Developer, Business Analyst, QA Engineer, Customer Support etc. The students can choose what kind of job they are interested in if they are passionate towards what kind of job they want to do.
If you are an above average student, then you will get a package of approximately 8lacs as an average here. The highest package that went to this year’s 2017 batch is 15 lacs and 1 candidate got placed. The average package is approx 5 lacs if all the students are taken in account. The roles offered by various companies were associate software engineer roles.

The institute has a large infrastructure supported by fully equipped laboratories, Central library and a Digital Library, the campus is Wifi equipped. DSCE blends with culture, art and performances, sports and athletics along with academics to bring out the potential of the student.
The facilities are research study oriented having a variety of sponsored R&D tasks from different companies. Such as Division of Science & Technology, Protection R&D company, Indian Area Research Study Company, AICTE etc.
