Ques. Who decides COMEDK UGET 2024 cut-offs?
Ans. COMEDK Cutoff is determined by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka.
Ques. What are the tie-breaking criteria for COMEDK UGET 2024?
Ans. In case of a tie between two or more candidates, the inter se merit list will be prepared on the following basis:
- The candidate with the least number of incorrect answers in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry will be given the rank.
- If the tie still exists, aggregate marks obtained in Physics and Mathematics in COMEDK UGET, will be compared. Higher marks will be given a higher rank.
- If the tie still exists, marks obtained by candidates in Mathematics will be compared, higher marks will be given the better rank.
- The older candidate among the two will be given a higher rank in the merit list.
Ques. What are the factors that will determine the COMEDK Cutoff?
Ans. COMEDK Cutoff is dependent on the following factors:
- Number of seats
- Number of candidates applied for the exam
- Performance of the candidate in the exam
- Difficulty level of the exam.
Ques. My rank is among the top 1000 students in COMEDK and I am from an OBC background. Will I get some concession in the admission fee?
Ans. Fee concession will be given for OBC candidates but no concession is given to the students who have secured a top rank.
Ques. I applied for COMEDK for MBBS and Engineering. I want to get admission to MBBS, my NEET score was 250 and my percentile was 80.4483. I got 75% in class 12 and I am from the general category. Can I get admission to MBBS/BDS in Bangalore?
Ans. This depends upon the counseling policy of NEET now. COMEDK cannot do the counseling for medical and dental colleges.
Ques. My COMEDK rank is 88346. Can I get admission to a medical/dental college in COMEDK?
Ans. NEET will conduct the counseling through a centralized process. COMEDK is not responsible for conducting counseling for medical seats.
Ques. I have applied for COMEDK and also NATA. Will my performance in NATA be considered at the time of seat allotment?
Ans. Yes. If you are applying for B.Arch., your NATA score will be taken into consideration.
