Founded in 1946, BMS College of Engineering (popularly known as BMSCE) is located in Bengaluru, Karnataka. BMS College of Engineering is accredited by the NAAC with A++ grade and CGPA of 3.83 on a scale of four. It is the first college of Karnataka to be accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
The college has been approved by the AICTE and UGC. Currently, BMS College offers 13 undergraduate and 16 postgraduate courses in conventional and emerging areas. A total of 5,000 students are actively pursuing their higher studies and 350 research scholars their PhD degrees at BMSCE. Also, the college is a partner institute of the Melton Foundation, USA.

Located in the heart of Bangalore, BMSCE is about 5 kms from the Central Railway Station. The campus area is spread in over 11 acres. The college offers advanced classrooms, upgraded labs and separate hostel facility for both boys and girls. The campus is wi-fi enabled with 24×7 internet facilities in the departments and hostels.
Basic facilities such as water heaters, Volleyball Court, TV lounge, indoor games such as Carrom Board and Table Tennis are also provided.
