BMS College of Engineering Bangalore- Direct Admission
Established in 1946, BMSCE has been rated now as one of the best 25 Engineering Institutions in India and second-best in Karnataka. This division was established in 1979 to initiate innovative ventures at national and international levels.
The purpose is to establish a good relationship and linkages with outside agencies and foreign universities for exchange programmers that would contribute towards the advancement of science and technology.
The excellence of BMSCE in the field has been amply acknowledged by many agencies around the world. In recognition, these agencies have been funding special programmers for more than two decades for training international students from various countries.
Governments of Malawi, Tanzania, Botswana, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Rwanda, and others have been regularly sponsoring their students studying at BMS institutions.
An International Hostel with all modern amenities is provided to the students. More than 1000 international students have graduated from portals of BMSCE since the inception of ICD.
Considering the reputation of the Institution, AICTE: the mandatory authorities governing the Engineering Institutes throughout India, have approved the admission of Foreign Nationals, PIOs, and children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries under 15% Supernumerary Quota.
In the view of above, all foreign Nationals, Persons of Indian Origin who have passed/appeared for 10+2/’A‘ level examination can apply for the Engineering courses and with a minimum basic degree for MBA & MCA course.
Likewise, children whose parents are working in gulf countries (minimum period of employment is stipulated as two years) can also apply. Hostel accommodation in the Institute campus is available on twin sharing basis.

BMS College of Engineering
BMSCE was Founded in the year 1946 by Late Sri. B. M. Sreenivasaiah a great visionary and philanthropist and nurtured by his illustrious son Late Sri. B. S. Narayan. BMSCE is the first private sector initiative in engineering education in India.
BMSCE has completed 69 years of dedicated service in the field of Engineering Education. Started with only 03 undergraduate courses, BMSCE today offers 13 Undergraduate & 16 Postgraduate courses both in conventional and emerging areas.
15 of its Departments are recognized as Research Centers offering Ph.D./M.Sc (Engineering by Research) degrees in Science, Engineering, Architecture, and Management. The Institute has been effectively practicing outcome-based education.
Location & Area: Located in the heart of Bangalore, the Garden City of India, BMSCE is about 5 KMs from the Central Railway Station. The campus area is 15 Acres with a built-up area of 62,068 Sq.M.

Established in 2002, BMS Institute of Technology and Management traces its roots to BMSET, the same trust that set up the first private technical institute, BMSCE. BMSIT&M is governed by BMS educational trust founded by Sri B M Sreenivasaiah and his illustrious son, Sri B S Narayan.

BMS School of Architecture
B M S School of Architecture, the 8th institution under the B M S Educational Trust, has the distinction of being established as an Independent “School of Architecture” in the year 2010. The School currently offers 5 years’ B.Arch Programme approved by Council of Architecture, (CoA), Govt. of Karnataka, and is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.
The vision of the school is to build world-class research and educational institution where knowledge is power, encouraging innovations, and providing services for a sustainable built environment and architecture. BMS College of Law
The Institute, situated in the heart of the city, was started during the academic year 1963-64 under the aegis of the B M S EDUCATIONAL TRUST. The Trust is named after Late Dharmaprakasha Rajakaryaprasaktha B. M. Sreenivasaiah, whose philanthropy resulted in the establishment of the First Engineering Institute under the Private Management of the State of Karnataka.
Initially, the institute was affiliated to Mysore University, later Bangalore University, and now to Karnataka State Law University (KSLU) and is approved by Bar Council of India, New Delhi.
During the inception of the Institute, the Administrative Principal, Late A G Ramachandra Rao, was the Minister for Education in the State of Mysore. His successors Hon’ble Mr. Justice E S Venkataramaiah and Hon’ble Mr. Justice M N Venkatachalaiah, former Chief Justices of India, were in the first decade, associated with the funding and guiding the institution.
