The institutions of Bharati Vidyapeeth (BV) was accorded deemed university status in 1996 for its academic excellence. Eligibility:
For all courses: You should have passed in qualifying examination i.e. H.S.C./10+2 or ICSC or equivalent with Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects along with any one of following subjects – Chemistry, Computer Science, Biotechnology, and Biology. The Department of Students’ Welfare (DSW) looks after the protection of rights and supervises the welfare activities of the students of Constituent Units of BVDU. DSW promotes and co-ordinates the different students’ activities for better corporate life. Anti-ragging Cell:
BVDU has an Anti-Ragging Committee headed by a senior faculty of the University. If the committee finds that prima facie there is a case of ragging on the Complaint it received, the committee will take immediate action including the filing of FIR with the local police depending on the seriousness of the case. The growing interest and potential opportunities of Graduates/ Post graduate students, wishing to pursue their higher education and research across Globe. To fulfill the dream career of higher education of their choice, the BVDU has established Higher Education Career Development Cell. This learning cell will offer GRE|GMAT|SAT|ToFEL|IELTS courses training, by a set of professional trainers, who are training since 1998. This learning Cell would also offer foreign language courses, offering French, Spanish, German and Japanese languages.
