Exam Pattern for JEE Mains

2. State Level Entrance Exam (MH- CET)
The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay administers the MHT- Common Entrance Test (CET) (IITB). This test is carried out twice a year, in January and July.
CET is used to gain admission to various engineering programmes offered by IITs. Students who have completed their 12th-grade examination are eligible to take this exam.
The test will last 2 hours and 30 minutes. The test is divided into two sections: Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry.
3. Management Quota
The government has decided that direct admission through management quotas will be permitted for engineering admissions beginning with the current academic session. This means that students who have completed their 12th grade can apply for admission to B-Tech/BE/BArch courses without taking an entrance exam.
The students can get direct admission through paying management fees to the college for the remaining seats from the counselling rounds.
