What is B.Tech Management Quota Admission 2022?

Engineering colleges in India have been divided into government and private colleges (including deemed universities).

Every state conducts its own entrance exam or counselling process for B.Tech admission. The engineering seats in every private college in different states are divided into state quota and management quota.

While the state government fills the seats for state quota, private colleges can fill the seats that fall under management quota. Only a limited percentage of seats will be available under management quota

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech Management Quota

Eligibility Rule 1	The candidates must have passed Class 12^th with a minimum of 45% to 50% of marks.
Eligibility Rule 2	Candidates who are waiting for Supplementary results of Class 12^th can also apply for admission. However, the admission will be granted only after the candidates submit Class 12^th pass certificate.

Candidates aspiring for management quota admission in B.Tech will have to either fill the online application form through the official website of the college or directly visit the college for obtaining application form.

The candidates will have to obtain prospects and application form by paying the prescribed application fee. It is mandatory to affix the photograph on the application form. The Fee Fixation Committee or state government shall fix the fee for B.Tech management quota admission. The fee for management quota will be 1 to 2times higher than the state quota fee. The average fee for B.Tech management quota ranges between Rs. 60,000 to 80,000 per annum, while the highest fee may go up to Rs. 1,00,000 to Rs. 1,50,000 per annum.

Can I get admission in engineering with management quota?

Yes, as of now you don’t have to attend any kind of exams to take admission through management quota in engineering colleges. You can take spot admissions to most of the private engineering colleges on the basis of your 12th marks.

Can I take direct admission in BTech?
