How to Apply for VIIT Pune Direct Admission

 1. Central Level Entrance Exam (JEE)

You can get admission in VIIT through JEE Entrance Exam. Let us take a look at what is JEE, and its Syllabus. 

Syllabus of the JEE Main Exam

Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are covered in the JEE Main exam syllabus. These are the three topics covered in the admission exam.

Syllabus for JEE Advanced

The advanced level examination is divided into two parts: physics and mathematics. This is a prerequisite for admission to IITs.

Exam Pattern for JEE Mains

The exam pattern varies from year to year. The core framework, however, stays the same. The test consists of four papers (two objective type and two descriptive type). Each paper is 2 hours long.

 2. State Level Entrance Exam (MH- CET)

The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay administers the MHT- Common Entrance Test (CET) (IITB). This test is carried out twice a year, in January and July. 

CET is used to gain admission to various engineering programmes offered by IITs. Students who have completed their 12th-grade examination are eligible to take this exam.

The test will last 2 hours and 30 minutes. The test is divided into two sections: Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry.

 3. Management Quota

The government has decided that direct admission through management quotas will be permitted for engineering admissions beginning with the current academic session. This means that students who have completed their 12th grade can apply for admission to BTech/BE/BArch courses without taking an entrance exam.

The students can get direct admission through paying management fees to the college for the remaining seats from the counseling rounds.
