Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering (DSCE) was started in the year 1979 in Kumaraswamy Layout, Bangalore. With the increase in popularity, it started two more campuses, one is Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology (DSATM) in Kanakapura Road, Bangalore in the year 2013 and another is Dayananda Sagar University (DSU) in Hosur Road in the year 2015.
DSCE is ranked among top ten engineering colleges in Bangalore, Karnataka. The laboratory is funded by AICTE (All India Council Technical Education), KSCST (Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology) and NAFB (National Aviation Fuel Board).
