Sinhgad College of Engineering (S.C.O.E) is the private institution and is managed by Sinhgad Technical Society. The College name is inspired from the one Maratha fort. The Institute offers Eight UG and Six PG Programs. The college also offers a post-graduate program of MBA. College vision is to produce not only good engineers but good human beings.

Eligibility:

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry /Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together.
Good Scores in any one of the following entrance exams.

Placement:

At the centralized training & placement cell we always make dedicated efforts to satisfy the students’ aspirations regarding their future career goals. Academics & Faculty: Classes are in morning shift. Teachers are highly qualified with great experience and knowledge.

Fees & Scholarship: All govt. Scholarships are available here and course fee is according to the Govt rule. All the eligible students got their scholarship.

Placements & Alumni Network: For placements Mass Recruiter of college are mostly IT companies with average package of 3LPA and highest package of 8.5 LPA. College has formed alumni network with the help of GEMS portal.

Infrastructure & Transportation: College hostels are near to college and food in hostel mess is fabulous. College provides free Wi-Fi facility for students.

Clubs & Associations: There are various clubs are formed .Anyone can join the club according to their interest. Main festival of college is karandak which will in February every year.

Review 2:

Remarks: Very charming environment. Faculties and staff supportive, Bad Remarks are only that Mgmt. is quite rude. Greenery is really beautiful. Nature is suitable for better studies.

Fee Structure and Facilities: The Fees are feasible in comparison to other colleges.

Placement Wing: Placements are very good enough, mostly the companies came for the placements wants all subjects to be cleared with about or above 65 percent. Top companies throughout India come to this college for placements. Mass recruitment takes place at this college. I think that’s fine for the engineers who want placements from the campus. Core branches like Mechanical, Electrical have also good opportunities for the job through placements and CE and IT is shining now. Placements are very good.

Faculty: Knowledgeable, Motivational and creative teachers are in the faculties. Always encourages. Students to enhance their qualities. Inform us about the new projects outside of the country colleges or university. Much of the faculties are supportive.

Exam Structure: Very good on overall mgmt. and paper pattern set by faculties. I think most of my friends and I think so. But, if you go thoroughly through the good smart study techniques, then it’s also useful to you. Paper set by the college is very good and of course very hard as well. Internships Opportunities: Yes, exactly the college gives an internship. Our college provides the internship. I got the internship, its stipend was some about Rs.8, 500 and I think that’s not so worried. It was the good experience. Some are paid or some are without payment internships.
