Studying Bachelor of Engineering

The Bachelor of Engineering (B. Eng. or BE) is one kind of Bachelor degrees and usually the first academic degree that is achieved for a studies in one of the engineering sciences.
The Bachelor of Engineering is academically equal to the Bachelor of Science and allows consecutive Master studies. It is however common practice to award the Bachelor of Engineering for rather practical oriented programmed at universities of applied sciences, whereas engineering programmed at universities are awarded with the Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.).
Due to the numerous possibilities for specializations in the area of Engineering there are further degree types such as the Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.Sc. in Eng.), the Bachelor of Business Administration and Engineering (BBAE) or the Bachelor of Business Engineering (BBE).

- Admisions are done on the basis of rank in KEA-CET through KCET Counselling and COMED-K through COMEDK Counselling.

Admisions in R.V.C.E are done as per Government of Karnataka norms and the admission matrix is announced by them. Out of the total seat 45% of seats are filled by KCET, 30% of seats get filled through COMEDK UGET and remaining 25% of seats are filled by Management Quota.
R.V.C.E. offers Managment Quota Admision which is considered as a lifeline for the students who are failed to make it through Common Entrance Test (CET) or COMEDK. By Management Quota they would get the same college and even in the same branch.
Fees Structure for Direct Admission in Managment Quota will be higher from COMEDK and KCET Fees which is 183600 and 60000 respectively. Management Quota Fees would depend on the Engineering branch which the candidate is opting for.
