Admission to the BTech program is based on KCET score, followed by KCET Counselling, which is conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). The application process for applying for KCET begins in the month of January every year while the application process of COMEDK starts in the month of February. The registration for GATE starts in the month of September.
The application process for admissions to B-Tech commences with the online registrations for JEE Mains/KCET (for Karnataka candidates)/COMEDK (for outside Karnataka candidates) and ends with the exam results announced along with the merit list of candidates eligible for the process.
