RV college offers Admission under 12 branches of engineering. The candidates looking for admission under any of the offered branch must fulfill the required eligibility criteria put up by the college. Eligibility Criteria
- 70% marks or equivalent CGPA in 10th standard in Science & Mathematics separately.
- 65% marks in Physics & Mathematics separately in 11th standard.
- 60% marks in Physics & Mathematics separately in 12th standard.
- Candidates must appear in either CET2024/ COMEDK 2024/ JEE 2024 or in any other national entrance test.
- Candidate appearing for PG courses need 50% in graduation from any recognized institution along with a valid score in GATE/ PG-CET.
B.E (Bachelor of Engineering) is the UG level degree offered by RV college under VTU (Visvesvaraya Technological University). This is a 4 year duration course consisting of 8 semester in total wherein students will have to compulsorily attend one internship program of minimum 6 months after their final semester. The students will be granted certificate on behalf of VTU.

Nearly 75% of the seats are filled through merit while the rest is taken under management quota. The admission charges and tuition fee under the management quota differs from merit quota, generally two to three times than the general fees. Students and their parents are expected to do the needful as per the regulations of admission office to get a confirmed seat. Candidates need to follow the steps mentioned below to access the KCET 2024 seat allotment procedure online:
- Visit the KCET official website at kea.kar.nic.in
- Click on the KCET seat allotment link.
- Candidates will have to enter their Karnataka CET number.
- Now, click on the ‘Submit’ button.
- KCET seat allotment 2024 shall be displayed on the screen.
- Download the same and proceed with the further KCET seat allotment procedure.
What’s New in RVCE?
RV College of Engineering accepts B-Tech admissions based on COMEDK- UGET 2024/ KCET Score followed by centralized counselling. The application process for COMEDK- UGET 2024 will start from February 01 and the entrance test is scheduled on May 12, 2024. KCET applications will also start from January 10, 2024 and the entrance exam will be conducted on April 20 & 21, 2024 in offline pen & paper mode.
