About COMEDK
Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation, in their endeavor to offer an effective, fair and objective testing procedure to determine the merit of students seeking admission to the member institutions, has formed the “Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka” (COMEDK).
COMEDK has been assigned the task of organizing a common entrance test for the current academic year. COMEDK entrance test & publication of test score and rank list will be followed by centralized counseling (Single window system). The list of the Member Institutions who have indicated their participation in the COMEDK testing program, along with the courses offered by them, is published on our website.

BTech Management Quota Seats & Direct Admission in Top Engineering Colleges
COMEDK (Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka) is an alliance of Private Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges located in the Karnataka State. This association conducts a state-level entrance exam named COMEDK UGET (Undergraduate Entrance Test) to select students in the first year of Engineering Degree Courses offered at Colleges or Institutes which are affiliated with COMEDK.
Till 2015, COMEDK UGET was also the gateway for MBBS and BDS Admission at its affiliated Medical and Dental Colleges. After the NEET has been taking part in the selection of MBBS and BDS students in all Medical and Dental Colleges in India, COMEDK discontinued conducting the Entrance Exam for MBBS and BDS Courses.

COMEDK UGET 2021 will be conducted on 20th June 2021, at various test centers across the country for admission in the first year of the Undergraduate Engineering Courses.

- Minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST, and OBC candidates of Karnataka State) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
- Should have passed these subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) individually with English as a compulsory subject.
- Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or any other technical vocational courses as one of the optional subjects.
