Overview:
Sinhgad College of Engineering is a technical education institute in the city of Vadgaon, Pune. The institute was established in the year 1996. It is affiliated to Pune University and managed by the Sinhgad Technical Education Society (STES). It has a total under-graduate and post graduate enrolment of 1200 and 338 students respectively. There are 126 students registered for Ph.D. with its research centre. The college is not only making quality engineers but also good human beings.
The institute has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation. The institute is also recognized by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). The institute has also been awarded as ‘A’ Grade College by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
The campus is spread across 50 acres approximately. The classrooms are clean and airy. SCOE, facilitate education for students with the help of state-of-the-art infrastructure and dedicated faculty members.

Selection Procedure:
65% of students are admitted on the basis of marks scored on the Maharashtra Engineering Entrance Test (CET) and 15% of the students from outside Maharashtra state are admitted through the All-India Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE). The remaining 20% of students are admitted through administration allowance.
Infrastructure:
The campus is vast and houses as many as 50 colleges in it. The classrooms are clean and airy, the multistory library wing and labs are well-equipped.
