BVP University Profile:
In the last decade Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University (BVDU) has emerged as a global university with a wide offering of programs and courses spanning varied educational faculties. BVDU today boasts of a state-of-the-art infrastructure, sprawling campuses, extensive teaching and learning facilities, library and research facilities. Today BVDU has 32 constituent units and is one of India’s largest multi-disciplinary multi-campus universities. The University Grants Commission which is the apex body concerned with higher education in India made an assessment of the academic excellence achieved by the institutions of BVDU through a committee of experts and on the recommendation of the UGC, the Government of India accorded the status of “Deemed to be University” to twelve institutions of BVDU i on 26th April, 1996 vide their notification No. F.9-15/95-U.3.
Campus:
The university has four campuses in Pune at Katraj (Dhankawadi), Balewadi, Lavale, and Kothrud.
The Katraj campus is the prime campus of BVDU and is spread across 85 acres of land, It’s a semi government university and houses 24 Institutions of various disciplines major among them are the Medical Institution, Dental Institution, & Institution Of Engineering Pune, This campus has a fully developed football and sports ground of 5 acres, It also houses the Bharati Hospital, and an Ayurveda and Homeopathic Hospital, There are Hostels on campus for students, canteens, an ATM centre, Bharati Bank Branch, 24 hrs. open Medical Store, Mess facility and the campus is a well maintained environment friendly green campus.

Eligibility Criteria:
For all courses: You should have passed in qualifying examination i.e. H.S.C./10+2 or ICSC or equivalent with Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects along with any one of following subjects – Chemistry, Computer Science, Biotechnology, and Biology. You should also have obtained 45% marks in Physics, Maths and any one optional subject taken together.

Remarks: There is nothing bad to say. This is my Institution and it’s great.
Entrance Preview: I opted this Institution because this is one Institution which provides the opportunity to study a different course designed and certified by IBM and this Institution also provides a chance to explore my individual capabilities. My acquaintances also provided a positive feedback so I opted this Institution.
Fee Structure and Facilities: I researched for this programme and other few Institutions offering the same programme with no integration with IBM are charging double the fees charged in Lloyd. So, considering the demand of this programme, I feel the fees is reasonable and worth the facilities we are provided.
Placement Wing: As i just joined the programme, i can only expect a good package in future. From what i have seen of my seniors, all of them are going through their on the job training process and 70% of them have already received the offers.
Hostel Facilities: I do not stay in the hostel as live in NCR only. However some of my classmates do stay in hostels and i have heard those saying good things about the same. The hostel is near the Institution and has good facilities the charges also are not expensive and food is good too.
Alumni: The senior batch has been good. When we joined the Institution, many of them were helpful in providing various details regarding Institution and other things.
Faculty: The faculty here have been truly supportive and the process of communication, knowledge sharing is complete and clear. We get individualized attention from the faculty so the fear of missing out is not there and we are able to pose questions easily. Campus Life: The campus is beautiful with a lot of greenery. The Lloyd business school is known for its amiable atmosphere with so much of warmth and acceptance for people all over the country. The clubs conduct various activities throughout so the environment is always lively and full of vibrancy.
Exam Structure: The course is divided into six trimesters and in each trimester, we have an internal exam along with marks for class participation like presentations, case study presentations etc. At the end of the trimester, we have an external examination.
