THE ASSOCIATION
The Alumni Association was initially started in 2013, and was officially registered with the Registrar of Societies in 2015. Book Donation Program: The book donation program was initiated by the association in November 2015, where alumnus can donate books to the institute. We have successfully run this campaign and grown the number of books available to the student community at BMS institute of technology. Books can be delivered to college through the bus, or courier paid by the receiver (the Alumni Association). Just contact us, and we will help you with it! Alumni Sessions: This program has been the main driver of the Association with Alumni being invited and shares their thoughts, knowledge, experiences or anything they like with the students. THE PLACEMENT CELL
The department of Placement and Training was established during the year 2004. The very first batch of students under this department was placed from the campus in 2005-06. Initially, the placement department collaborated with the department in BMSCE campus. As of date the department is fully sustained and provides complete placement solutions to the students of the institute and BMS institute of technology has a good placement record in ranking of engineering colleges in Bangalore.
There has been a steady increase in the number of recruiting organizations since its establishment and at present we have around 150 organizations where in BMS Institute of Technology alumni are making a difference, both to the glory of the company and an active change in the society. The department facilitates the entire recruitment process by coordinating with various facilities in the campus. For the students to be placed in the prestigious organizations that come for recruitment, the department provides a complete training solution involving in house faculty and industry interactions. WOMEN EMPOWERMENT CELL
The WEC was created with the aim to redefine what it means to be a strong woman and to empower women not only within the community but non-members as well. The WEC conducts various programs to train women living in rural areas and helps them acquire knowledge and skills to improve their quality of life.
