Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune was established in 1983 and was established in 2001. In 2017, MIT Group of Institutes was awarded university status and both the colleges were merged to form MIT-WPU Faculty of Engg. s the department of Engg of MIT World Peace University and is located in Kothrud, Pune. The Faculty of Engg consists of two colleges Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune & MIT College of Engg, Pune.

UG Admission

There are 9 different Under-Graduate Admission; such as-

  1. Civil– It is a professional Engg discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works such as roads, bridges, canals, dams, airports, sewerage systems, pipelines, and railways.
  2. Mechanical– This is the discipline that applies physics, mathematics, and materials science principles to design, analyze, manufacture, and maintain mechanical systems. It is one of the oldest and broadest of the disciplines.
  3. Electronics and Telecommunication– It is an electrical Engg discipline which utilizes nonlinear and active electrical components (such as semiconductor devices, especially transistors, diodes and integrated circuits) to design electronic circuits, devices, VLSI devices and their systems. The discipline typically also designs passive electrical components, usually based on printed circuit boards.
  4. Polymer– It is generally an Engg field that designs, analyses, or modifies polymer materials. Polymer Engg covers aspects of the petrochemical industry, polymerization, structure and characterization of polymers, properties of polymers, compounding and processing of polymers and description of major polymers, structure property relations and applications.
  5. Petroleum– This is a field of Engg concerned with the activities related to the production of hydrocarbons, which can be either crude oil or natural gas. Exploration and production are deemed to fall within the upstream sector of the oil and gas industry.

Eligibility criteria for Maharashtra State Candidate and Outside Maharashtra State Candidate:

Note:-

  1. The students belonging to B.Sc.
