KCET or Karnataka Common Entrance Test is a state-level entrance exam conducted by a Karnataka government authority called Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).
KCET is an offline exam conducted for admission to the full-time Engineering, Technology, B.Pharm, D.Pharm, Agricultural courses (Farm Science) and Veterinary courses, in the various educational institutions in the state of Karnataka.
Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) have scheduled KCET examination from 19th April 2024 & 19th April 2024 for the academic session 2024-25.
KCET is applicable for almost all Government, Government-Aided and Private Institutions in the state of Karnataka for the students who belongs to Karnataka or holding Karnataka state Domicile.
After the KCET Exam, KEA will declare the results and based on that allotments will be done through counseling, and the candidates will allotted to their desired institutions on the basis of their ranks in KCET Exam.
Those who couldn’t get into their desired college or branch, they can apply through Management Quota, though they have to pay bit more fee in compare to merit students but they can same one more year in which they will do preparation for KCET.

Placements at PES University are on par with most IITs and NITs. Students of Class 2019 from PES University have bagged 1119 offers with a highest compensation of 46 lakhs per annum and minimum compensation of 4 lakhs per annum.
As many as 293 students secured compensation ranging from 8 lakhs per annum to 39 lakhs per annum in 67 companies.
A total of 125 companies visited the campus in the placement exercise through the year and prominent companies were Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Cisco, Intuit, Morgan Stanley, PwC, Citrix, etc.
As of now students from the current year have secured 1015 offers from 93 companies and over 60 companies are expected to visit the campus in the coming months.

Admission and Entrance Exams
Admission for 1st Year B.Tech Programmes at PES University is done through KCET and PESSAT Examinations.
PES University considers the marks obtained by the candidates in their qualifying examination (10+2, 12th Std., 2nd PUC and Equivalent) and in the PESSAT examination for preparation of the merit list for B.Tech Programmes.
To be eligible for B.Tech Programme Admission in PES University, you should have scored minimum 60% marks in 10+2 in science stream i.e., in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized board.
And also appear in KCET conducted by KEA or PESSAT conducted by PES University or you may appear into both.
Besides above process, there is also an alternate way to get B.Tech Admission in PES University that is through Management Quota.
However, the Fee Structure for Management Quota Seats will be slightly higher than the normal one, but you will get PES University Direct Admission for B.Tech Programme.

PESSAT (PES Scholastic Aptitude Test)
PESSAT is a National level Entrance Test conducted by PES University Bangalore for Admissions to the programs offered by the university such as B.Tech, BBA, Hotel Management, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, etc.
