Bhusanayana Mukundadas Sreenivasaiah College of Engineering, also known as BMS College of Engineering, was brought into existence in 1946 in Bengaluru. The institute is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum, and is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council.
All undergraduate and postgraduate programs of the institute have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation of AICTE, New Delhi.
BMS College of Engineering is the only institute from India adopted by the Melton Foundation, the USA, to initiating the International Collaborative program.
