Businayana Mukundadas Sreenivasaiah College of Engineering is an autonomous engineering college in Basavangudi, Bangalore, India.
It is autonomous college, affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. The engineering college, started in 1946 by B. M. Sreenivasiah, was the first private sector initiative in technical education in India and is run by the BMS Educational Trust.
BMS College of engineering is the India’s oldest engineering college established in 1946. They are providing the quality education and producing quality engineers who can conquer the world.
BMSCE is located on the Basavangudi Area Bull Temple Road, diagonally opposite to the famous Bull Temple. Though a private engineering college, it is partially funded by the Government of Karnataka.

Eligibility Criteria:
The candidate should have passed the two years of P.U.C Examinations (with Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science/ Electronics / Biology as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study) conducted by the Pre-University Board of Karnataka State or any other examination recognized as equivalent college/ university.
In case of candidates belonging to SC/ST & Category I (Karnataka Students Only), the minimum percentage of marks shall not be less than 40% in the optional subjects as per rules.
Admission Process:
For BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore admissions, the applicants should qualify for the Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK UGET) Entrance Exam which will be conducted by the Karnataka State.
