Intake of the Department = 120

The department of ME was established in the year 2011 to impart high quality mech skills to the blooming engineers under the umbrella of DSATM with an annual intake of 60 which increased to 120 in the year 2013. Research and Development centre established in 2016 offers Ph.D. programmes Affiliated to VTU, Belagavi. The strength of the department lies in its highly qualified and experienced expert teaching faculty besides its supportive, excellent non-teaching staff. The department is engaged in sponsored research, consultancy and testing majorly in the areas of advanced materials development, processing and design.
