The Department of ECE was started in the academic year 2000-2001. The student intake for the undergraduate programmer in ECE is currently 160. Students who choose to pursue further study in the field can opt for the M. Tech in VLSI & Embedded Systems. The department also offers the Master of Science and Ph.D. programmers in ECE.
