The RV College of Engineering was established in 1963 with a vision of emerging as a leading academic institute in providing quality technical education, innovation, and interdisciplinary research, with sustainable and inclusive technology being the main focus.

The institute is a self-financing academic institution and is run by a not-for-profit organization named  Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust (RSST).

Initially, the RV College of Engineering Bangalore started with only three disciplines of engineering, namely electrical department, civil department, and mechanical department, and as of now, the college offers has more than 15 departments offering admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate, and doctoral programs in the domain of engineering, computer science, and basic sciences.

With a campus area of over 16.85 acres and a set of more than 50 dedicated faculty members, RV College of Engineering Bangalore offers 12 Bachelor’s programs, 36 Master’s programs, and doctoral programs.

The college has an advanced infrastructure that provides students with an apt environment for academic acceleration and learning.

RVCE Bangalore Admission Process 2022

RVCE Bangalore admissions are offered at the UG, PG, and doctoral levels. Along with 15 departments in engineering, RVCE Bangalore admissions are also available in MCA and Masters of Science or MSc or MS departments.

The undergraduate program of RV College of Engineering Bangalore admission is offered in twelve different specializations, such as telecommunications, biotechnology, chemical, civil, mechanical, computer science, information science and engineering, electronics and communications, electrical and electronics, electronics and instrumentation, industrial engineering and management, and aerospace.

RV College of Engineering Bangalore offers an MCA along with an MTech program at the postgraduate level in various specializations of structural engineering, highway technology, product design and manufacturing,

computer integrated and manufacturing, machine design, VLSI, power electronics, communication systems, CSE, computer network engineering, digital communication, radiofrequency and microwave engineering, software engineering, information technology, and biotechnology.

RVCE Bangalore B.E Admissions Process for Admission through KCET and COMEDK

• Candidates need to appear for Karnataka CET or COMEDK for RV College of Engineering Bangalore admission.
• On the basis of the scores, candidates have to participate in the COMEDK/K CET counselling.
• Candidates have to choose RVCE Bangalore as the preferred college. 
• Seats will be allotted on the basis of entrance exam scores and participation in the counselling process and then candidates have to get the documents verified and pay the requisite fee.
